Mindfulness is a great method for reducing stress and cultivating wellness. Mindfulness can also be the gateway to liberation from mindless existence.

The four foundations of mindfulness, taught by the Buddha, are the basis for a strong and healthy mind-body connection. Connecting body and mind is the principal remedy for the confusion and pain of living in a world that is constantly falling apart.

This retreat will be based on the teachings of Chögyam Trungpa from Heart of the Buddha.

Friday 5-7 p.m.  Talk and discussion to establish the retreat
Saturday 9 a.m.-12 p.m.  Mindfulness of Body
Saturday 1:30-4:30 p.m.  Mindfulness of Life 
Sunday 9 a.m.-12 p.m.    Mindfulness of Effort 
Sunday 1:30-4:30 p.m.    Mindfulness of Mind

Optional reading material will be provided.
