The intention behind decorum is to connect with our own and others basic goodness.

This 4 part course on Shambhala Culture and Decorum  is offered to all, but particularly to our precious volunteers who staff  programs and public meditations.

An opportunity to demystify this subtle  subject , the course will cover questions which  frequently arise and refresh our appreciation for the ‘how’  and the ‘why’ behind our  wealth of forms, rituals,  and  protocols. Decorum is not a strict set of rules, but rather a skillful means to expand our awareness practice. By being precise, gentle, and open as we  relate with these forms, we can  create an uplifted environment as a gesture of graciousness to all.
