Centre de méditation Shambhala de Montréal
In 1970 Chogyam Trungpa came to North America, landing in Montréal and going on to create a worldwide organisation of meditation centres, now known as Shambhala.
He came with a rich and powerful heritage of spiritual accomplishments—the teachings of the Kagyu, Nyingma and Bön traditions. These three lineages are our heritage—offered to the world in the vision of creating an enlightened society.
This talk will give an overview of how Trungpa Rinpoche and his spiritual heir, Sakyong Mipham Rinpoche, have laid the ground and provided the vision for us to practice kindness, discernment and open heart, so that an enlightened society may take root and flourish.
